 Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center (DARCC) is committed to the prevention of sexual violence in north Texas and compassionately serving those impacted by it

Our staff and trained advocates are available to help those impacted by sexual violence navigate the journey of healing in a safe and confidential environment. Sexual violence doesn’t discriminate. We serve all individuals who have been impacted by sexual violence with respect and compassion. This includes women, men, the LGBTQ+ community, immigrants, refugees, and all other survivors of sexual violence.

DARCC’s comprehensive program includes counseling, crisis intervention and advocacy for those whose lives have been affected by sexual violence. DARCC is also committed to social change through prevention, education and outreach programs to the community.

 Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support’s mission is to provide safety, shelter, and support for women and children who have experienced domestic violence, and to raise awareness regarding its cause, prevalence, and impact. Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support offers comprehensive domestic violence recovery programs. To meet the increased need for meals due to school and business closures, Genesis Women’s Shelter aims to continue providing advocacy, children’s counseling, healthy meals, and legal services to women and children. Funding is requested to provide support to their emergency shelter, transitional living facility, and shelter program. They anticipate serving 3,500 individuals.
